King County International Airport (Boeing Field), Seattle, Washington. Ad Hoc Noise Advisory Committee

This committee was developed as a result of the Metropolitan King County Council Motion 9523, on March 28, 1995. Its purpose is to offer advice to the Executive and the Council in the development and review of a Noise Monitoring Program. The program is to determine the impact of aircraft noise on affected communities and propose appropriate mitigation. The committee is made up of representatives from the communities (currently 18), and staff support is provided by the Airport. It meets once per month, generally on the 2nd Monday of the month (unless it is a holiday), between 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. at the Airport terminal off Airport Way on the east side of Boeing Field.
