Legislative Committee To Tour Airport,
Hear Presentation on Importance of
Sea-Tac Airport to State’s Economy

Lt-Gov. Brad Owen and a select legislative committee on economic development and international relations will take a private tour of Sea-Tac Airport on Tuesday November 4, after hearing presentations that morning from Airport staff and others on the importance of the Airport on the State’s economy.

The presentations will be held in the Airport’s main terminal, in Room MT 6011 (the large auditorium on the mezzanine level), starting at 9.30 a.m. and concluding at noon. The presentations are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment or for organizational responses to the presentations. RCAA intends to have one or more observers present, & at a later date, to submit written comments to the members of the committee. These presentations usually try to convey the idea that Sea-Tac Airport and air travel are synonymous, inferring that there should be no effort to develop other major facilities.
